If you have ever wondered "are psychics real?" you are not alone. Many people ask them selves this very same question every day. The answer is often not an easy one but for thousands of years, people have turned to psychics, and clairvoyants for love, romance, and life advice. Some say psychics even have the ability to communicate with the spirits of the departed.
However, over the years claims of spiritualism and psychic powers have been so widespread and the reports of its effects so numerous and impressive that it was inevitable that scientists would be attracted to the alleged phenomena. Parapsychology the science that studies these phenomena focused on many areas including telepathy, clairvoyance, hypnotism, spirits, spiritualism, and the history of spiritual manifestations.
Although Parapsychology is still considered a fringe science by many scientists it still merits the attention of renowned educational institutions such as Princeton University and Berkley. Princeton offers the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) degree and the University of Berkley in California awarded the only American accredited degree in Parapsychology to Jeffery Mishlove in 1980. But in saying this I am putting the cart before the horse.
The pioneers of modern Parapsychology began using the experimental approach to psychic phenomena at Duke University in the 1930s under the direction of Joseph Rhine. Subsequently Karl Zener one of J.Rhines associates developed the world renowned Zener card test for testing ESP abilities using the scientific method. These ESP tests were conducted at Duke University in one of the first Pavlovian conditioning laboratories.
Parapsychology progressed throughout the 20th century and adopted current technology as it became available. The use of more sophisticated methods of paranormal investigation advanced as technology did. In modern times advanced electronic equipment is often used to test for psychic phenomena. This is because paranormal events reportedly cause energy disturbances across the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Some speculate that energy is drawn from the surrounding environment to power psychic events. Modern day paranormal investigators monitor these environmental energy changes with a variety of modern instruments including EMF detectors, temperature sensors, static electricity detectors, ionization detectors, motion detectors, EVP recording devices, RF detectors, and radiation monitors.
So, whether you believe in psychics, paranormal activity, or spiritualism the fact of the matter is there is currently hard scientific data documenting the anomalous psychic events which occur in the everyday world around us. In addition for thousands of years unexplained phenomena have been documented throughout history. Are millions of people crazy? I think not. I assure you that the spiritual realm does exist and I am not alone in that belief. Many scientists, layman, and spiritualists share the same views about our universe. Even some world renowned physicists speculate the need for more than one dimension to explain life as we know it.
My best advice is to try to keep an open mind and an objective outlook about things that we do not fully understand. that is unless you believe the sole criterion of reality is our limited human ability to quantify, tag, and label it. After all we can not see the wind but we do see the affect it has on the leaves as they blow about. Does this mean wind does not exist just because we cannot see it?
In closing I leave it up to you the reader to decide for your self the answer to the question at hand. But, know this my answer to the question "are psychics real?" is yes. Psychics, psychic abilities, spirits, and ESP are real whether you believe in them or not.

Master The Law Of attraction for manifesting your desires
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve." Napoleon Hill, author of many books about the mind and success, wrote the quote many years ago after interviewing W. Clement Stone. It still holds true today. The mind is an incredible tool that has untapped and misused power. Science knows how to go to the moon, and yet they only know the tip of the iceberg information about the paranormal and the use of the mind to achieve success, live longer, live better and be happier.
The term paranormal is a misnomer because, there's nothing "beyond normal" using the principals of mind power, such as "The law of attraction". You use it everyday from morning to night. Many people, however, use it improperly and attract negative outcomes.
The law of attraction is nothing more than deciding what you want, focusing on visualizing yourself with that and believing that it already is available. Many untrained men and women use it to achieve either what they want, or exactly the opposite. The mind uses the law of attraction with no regard for good, bad, like or dislikes. You get what you ask for, regardless of whether you want it or not.
Suppose you want the house. You draw up the plans, scour magazines for pictures of different rooms, and picture yourself inside the house greeting guests. One day out of nowhere, you drive past the house of your dreams and find it for sale. You believe this is the right home but have no money to purchase it. Normal people would shrug their shoulders and walk away, not you. You know this is the house, you saw it in your dreams and every waking moment. You decide to check with the realtor anyway. Amazingly, the owner wants to finance the house for the seller, himself and doesn't need a down payment. The payments suggested fit into your budget. The house is yours. Is it coincidence? No, it is the law of attraction at work.
Do you ever wonder why some people get right up to the door of success only to have it slam in their face. They use the law of attraction in a negative way. They see themselves as failures.
You can create your own reality. It works. When you use creative visualization with the law of attraction, you direct your mind to see you where you want to be. There's nothing mystical about it. It works on several planes. The first is the fact that you are more aware when opportunity arises. You notice the steps to your goal when they confront you. In the example above, you saw the house of your dreams.
The second is that you believe that your dream is attainable so you take action on it, action that you never would have attempted without your visualization to confirm that success was possible. In the example, you looked at the house, something you normally wouldn't do.
The third may seem mystical and paranormal but is just science we don't yet understand. Had someone shown early man the computer, he would have said it was magic or witchcraft. He would have said that, not because it is paranormal but because he didn't yet understand how it worked or all the principals involved.
That's the same concept we have of the law of attraction. Thoughts are things; they are energy waiting to materialize. It requires guidance and focus but is available to every man and woman. In the example, your energy influenced the seller's decision to finance the sale, even before you met him. Just like the computer, you don't have to understand how it works to use it.
When you learn to use the law of attraction in a controlled positive manner, a universe of possibilities begin to show up in your life. It isn't mystical, nor is it magical, like the early man, you just don't have the science yet to understand it.

3 Reasons to Visit Chatham-Kent Ontario
Chatham is settled on the Thames river in Southwestern Ontario. It is predominantly rural and agricultural but it is still home to over 108 000 residents. Farming surrounds the city but there is industry found in the larger urban areas.
Chatham was founded as a naval dockyard back in the 18th century. It was named after a city in England which was also a dockyard. In 1998 the county of Kent was amalgamated with Chatham giving us the municipality of Chatham-Kent.
The area has a rich and interesting history, here are a few specific reasons to visit it:
1. Paranormal Activity: Are you into ghost stories and mysteries? If you are, Chatham is a great spot for you. People come from across Canada to try and get a glimpse of the paranormal in this city. Downtown Chatham is rife with ghost stories and other unexplainable phenomena.
The city actually plays host to an annual Spook Walk, where paranormal author Sheila Gibbs leads a tour through the downtown core sharing the ghost stories of local businesses and residents. Every town has it’s share of weird stories, but Chatham had enough that Gibbs was able to write a book about it: The Ghosts of Chatham-Kent.
2. Erieau: This small community located in south-central Chatham is a popular tourist destination. Located on the shores of Lake Erie, cottagers, boaters and fishermen flock to this area in the summer to enjoy their leisurely pursuits.
Erieau has a full service boat marina to cater to all your boating needs. It is also home to some of Ontario’s nicest sandy white beaches. There are an abundance of cabins and cottages to rent in this area all summer long.
3. ROCKSTOCK: A relatively new attraction to the city is this rock festival. 2008 saw the inaugural event draw some big names in Canadian rock music. Finger 11, Sloan and The Trews headlined the event that took place at the Chatham Municipal Airport.
The first year was such a success that event organizers are planning for an even bigger show this year. They are planning on making the festival a 2 day event with one day devoted to rock and one day devoted to country. Hopefully this change will help ROCKSTOCK continue to grow and impress.
Chatham is a wonderful place to spend some time. It is also full of history, if the above reasons weren’t enough to interest you I will throw in an extra tidbit. Chatham was actually one of the stops on the legendary Underground Railroad. Some residents say that explains why their is so much paranormal activity.
Come to Chatham to have a great time, relax on the beach or learn about the history of this great Country. One thing is for certain, no matter why you come, you will be happy you did.
